SAN DIEGO PRESS CLUB AWARDS At the 35th annual San Diego Press Club Awards, Pat won five awards, including First and Second Place for Radio Reviews, for "Corpus Christi" (Diversionary Theatre) and "'Night, Mother" (the premiere production of Ascension Theatre. She also won three awards for her articles in the San Diego Jewish Journal, one of which was a feature on "The Magic Fire" (Moonlight Stage Productions).
VIVA VALDEZ!
The International Latino Film Festival in the Bay Area was terrific! And the impressive tribute to Luis Valdez opened with the documentary I made with City TV, "The Legacy of Luis Valdez, Father of Chicano Theater." There was an enthusiastic crowd and a really fun party to follow, with great Mexican food and music, of course. It was an honor to share the evening with Luis and Lupe Valdez.
